Nowadays, everything seems so expensive. No matter where you are, the purchasing power of the dollar continues to fall. In this country, stems from rising gas prices are one of the toughest economic strains. This situation not only forces you to pay more at the gas, but also drives up freight and shipping charge, which translates more expensive consumer's products in this country. It is even worse in big cities, where prices are already higher than in more suburban areas. In Chicago, for instance, gas prices have reached $3 a gallon marks. The good news is that we still can do something that helps to save our hard earn money to deal with high prices problem: save on gas by walking or using L train, conserve power at home, and search Craigslist for great bargains. So what does Craigslist mean? Founded in 1995 as a resource for San San Francisco Bay Area, a site was representing each of 450 cities worldwide by 2006. And now, Craigsilst becomes a centralized network of online communities throughout the world. Postings on Craigslist can be placed in various sections, all can be organized into main categories, and best of all, advertinsing here is free. A great resource for bargain hunting throughout the Windy City, Chicago Craigslist (http://chicago.craigslist.org), where you can contact the person who wants to sell their stuff in the "for sale" section, which is broken up into smaller sections that makes it easily to find something you are searching for. Want a cheaper portable computer? Browse the computer board. Finding some rims for that new ride? Check out the auto parts board. Amazingly, small household items can even be found here, should you be really lucky, you may come across exactly what you're searching for in the "free" section. It pays to check it out every now and then because sometimes people post coupons they don't need in the section. It's worth to pay a visit anyway, just to see if you can find a great bargain. I have put together important tips to ensure that you will be happy about this particular mode of frugality. 1. If you want to buy brand new goods, look for somewhere else, this is not a place for you because most things being sold on CL tend to be items people either don't want or no longer use. 2. Choosing the best delivery method that suits your need. Negotiate with your sellers and settle up an agreement about how they will send their items to you. Figure it out before it's too late. 3. Don't be so hectic to buy your items like there's no tomorrow. Compare its prices with some other resources and get the real bargain. Please enter a paragraph
