A training DVD or a sales video can be a new item to use to foster innovation and novel ideas for your typical staff meeting or educational session. A training DVD can offer an outsiders' perspective while still maintaining clarity and your vision for the company. A sales video such as this can be an original way to spark interest in and new debate and ideas around the office.

Sales videos and training DVDs can be found everywhere. There are hundreds of videos out there that may be effectively utilized within your company.

The key to success with these types of training tools is to find the DVD or video which best works with the ideas and goals of your company.

A training DVD for your company can be located almost anywhere. The key to doing it right is to find the one which best typifies the message of your company and one which encourages employees to meet your high demands and expectations.

A further stipulation with using a training DVD or sales video is to understand how you are going to be presenting the information. Will you allow it to play all the way through before opening the floor to discussion, or will you pause throughout the DVD to make comments and allow for discussion? All of this must be carefully considered.

Once you have determined this, you can then develop your strategy. Do you choose to let the sales video run straight through before taking questions? Or would you like for this to be a more open forum where employees can pose questions as they arise?

A further note about using training DVDs is to know ahead of time what you want your employees to gain from its airing. Do you want to spark new debate or do you simply want it to emphasize the goals of the team?

Sales videos and training DVDs can be excellent teaching tools. However, they have to be used wisely and in a manner that will positively influence those members of the entire sales team.
