The basics of Kitcar and exotic car construction

By: Jim Jackly

In style and fashion, exotic is what captures our imagination. The same applies to exotic cars. An exotic

car like a Ferrari, Lamborghini or Fiero is not a common car. When someone sees an exotic car, they

focus on the car and are amazed by it. It's the same with any exotic fashion.

Because exotic cars are limited in number and usually very expensive, it can be a status symbol to have

one. In fact, even if you want one and have the cash, it can be difficult to get your hands on one of the

more exotic models of Ferrari or Lamborghini. Fortunately, there is another way to be able to experience

an exotic car and that's with replica cars.

A replicar is an imitation exotic car. It's not like many imitation products you might be aware of because

instead of knocked up in some factory in China, you assemble your own

in your own garage giving it all the care

and attention the project needs. How close of an imitation are these kitcars? Very close.

The look and design will match up perfectly to the naked eye. There are a few differences of course.

Instead of using steel panels and a steel body, these replica exotic cars use fiberglass. The fiberglass is

durable and gives the same look you would see on a Lamborghini, Fiero or even a Ferrari. Another

difference between a replica and actual replica car is under the hood. One the mechanical side they are

different, but with extra work, the specs can be nearly the same.

With the right replica car kit, you can be enjoying an exotic car that looks just like a Lamborghini,

Ferrari or Fiero. It's a great way to enjoy making a splash.
