2. A blink warning detects when your subject blinks and lets you to repeat the shot instantly.

The light sensitivity range of the Coolpix S550 is up to ISO 2000 which makes it for shooting in dimmer light conditions or for photographing targets on the move. There is a choice of manual and automatic settings giving you full control. The monitor is a large 2.5-inch and the displays have been greatly improved with plenty of feedback assistance and clearly identifiable icons. For someone who takes a lot of portrait shots the smile mode and blink function are particularly useful! An adequate array of features and specifications but costing around $US220 it's a little on the expensive side for its class. The new features and small size might appeal to the discerning photographer!
