Can A Car Run On Nothing?

Some very entertaining rumors are flying around cyberspace about a new car that runs on compressed air Seems that it won’t take you to far without “refueling” with air but I presume it will be good for running errands.
The shortcoming that I see is that there are millions of cars out there and they have not figured out a way to convert them to this fuel system.
As with any new innovation there may be surprises when the new vehicles get out there on the street
A surprise about the electric hybrids was that owners have to replace the battery at very high cost every five years or so

Apparently there is a bolder idea... some fool is manufacturing a vehicle that runs on nothing! I am not joking... no ethanol, no hydrogen, no fossil fuel for sure, no compressed air... nothing...
OK, before you start hitting me with the Fred Flintsone jokes, let me assure you I am not endorsing this plan. I am just pointing it out that there are folks who are doing all sorts of crazy things just as the Wright Brothers did in the earliest days of aviation, trying to figure out a solution in order to emancipate the world from the robber barons in the oil and automotive companies.
It is great that people are continuing to innovate but in such an environment it is wise to keep one’s feet on the ground and consult practicality which is why I support what is already getting the job done.
